Album: Florida
I still had 7 vacation days from 1999 left and if you don't use them in the first months of 2000, you loose them. Spending those days in Toronto wasn't on the top of my list. So I decided to go to Florida. Why Florida? Well, the reason was Disney World. I really enjoy amusement parks and wanted to go to the most well known park for a long time. Going in February also meant escaping the Canadian winter and that's definitely a bonus. The only problem was work because I was busy, so it wasn't sure that I could even go. But a more quiet period at work suddenly opened up. On Monday I booked the flight ticket and on Thursday I left Toronto.

Album: Trip to the Netherlands
It had been almost 2.5 years since my last trip to the Netherlands so it was definitely time for another visit. The main reason was the wedding of one of my best friends. Besides that, it was also an opportunity to show Joanne the country where her crazy Dutchman grew up.

Album: Western Canada
You have to do something special for your 30th birthday, don't you? My brother came over and together we went on a trip to Western Canada. We started off in Calgary and through Banff, Jasper, Victoria we ended up in Vancouver. Here are the pictures.

These pictures were taken around the game where I ended up with a concussion. I don't remember at all that this picture was taken. That's why I don't know why I am not on the second picture. The trophy in front of the team is the Cup we won last year.
